The air con didn't work, so the room was a bit too warm
Clean, we'll-maintained hotel. Excellent location close to Nippori Station and train to Narita. Very good lunch in the Japanese restaurant, Tenshin.
The hotel staff is friendly, helpful and patient with me since I spoke no Japanese. There was one gentleman who spoke some English and was very helpful in answering my questions. The hotel is very clean and comes with a private bath. The prices was the best around the Nippori district. And the Nippori train station is a three minute walk from the station and hotel lobby. Guests rooms have house slippers for use and to take, never used of course. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, accessible from the lobby and a large lap swimming pool below the lobby. I plan on returning to Nippori and will reserve a room there in the future.
I can't say I didn't like this of the hotel, I didn't mind that the room was small for a single bed. However, very clean!
Quiet friendly hotel and near to Nippori station which is accessible to just about everywhere including Haneda and Narita Airports. Friendly staff - particularly at breakfast. There are soft and alcoholic vending machines on most floors.
Well - I'm nitpicking because of language barriers. However, I was under the imprssion that I was being loaned an adaptor and I was charged 1000 yen for. Just took the edge of.
Excellent location. Very near to Nippori station, which is easy to access to Narita airport and go to central of Tokyo. Staffs are very helpful. Hotel is ver clean and room is big.
Large room. Nice breakfast. Good location.
Dry walls passage noise.
Location was perfect for me as it was very close to Nippori station which is the first stop on the Skyliner train from Narita airport. Room was fine and good choice for breakfast included in room rate.
Price was quite high compared with other hotels we looked at, but location was the main reason we stayed here.
I booked for a twin room. It turned out as a very pleasant surprise that the twin room was a spacious executive room. The facilities were very good.
Good quality hotel, spacious foyer and bedroom adequately spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful, have sufficient English. Nice swimming pool. Nippori is a very convenient location for JR line and airport train. More traditional, quieter area of city.
Ethernet cable is good if you have a laptop, but you can not connect your mobile phone device because there was no Wi-fi internet access.
Good：location, room size, breakfast Bad：noisy in the morning due to poor sound insulation, curtain can not prevent sub rays which waked us up around 7:00am every morning. We booked a three bed room which actually is twin bed room plus one added bed which is smaller than the standard bed and less comfortable .
Good position ,easy from airport by train. Staff friendly and helpfull. Room is small(tokio standard). For few days is ok!
Small room.and very small bed look like a single bed.
The Breakfast was really good and worth the price. Yes it was the same meal everyday, but there was lots to choose from. The rooms were clean and had free wifi. The hotel was quiet and although we didn't use the gym it looked equipped. The rooms were clean and the area was close to metro, Japan Rail and walking distance to the Zoo and National Museum.
The staff had a hard time understanding English. Do not ever forget anything in this hotel or you will not get it returned to you!!!!! An electronic item was left behind/misplaced. We called from airport to see if it was in the room and they said no. The next day I wrote a letter and they appoligized saying that they took another look and found it in a dresser? We then corrosponded for 3 weeks on how to get it back. Eventually they were going to ship to me at a cost of $140cnd dollars. With luck I had a friend returning to Tokyo and they went to the hotel and picked it up saving me the huge cost of shipping.
Good location, close to station. Ginza and Akihabara just 20 minutes by metro. It's in the Yanaka district - an old fashioned part of Tokyo. The Yanaka Ginza traditional shopping street is nice to visit, sells great Japanese tea and sweets and is only 15 minutes walk from hotel. If you have a bit more energy, it's only 25 minutes walk to Ueno park.
No way to change temperature in room. The woman who checked me in wasn't very welcoming - but I'm judging that by Japanese standards of service ;)
Excellent location, staff can speak english, reasonable price, some shops and restaurants nearby
Quite small room and bed (semi double room type)
